North of Pleasant Grove, the new US 59 freeway will tie in to the existing US 59. Grading has begun on the new southbound lanes between the end of the freeway and the existing divided segment south of Lawrence.
Paving is nearly completed on the ramps from the new US 59 to County Road 460.
